I wrote Gemini in hopes it would also end up on my EP but to put it quite simply, I ran out of money and also time. It got to the point where people would ask me why Gemini wasn’t on the EP or they would hear me play it at gigs and support shows and tell me how much they loved it. I knew I had to record it ASAP as it was probably the number one song people would talk to me about after I came off stage. During the peak of the pandemic in early 2020, I found myself listening to sooooo much early 2000s pop music, ESPECIALLY Katy Perry’s 2008 album, ‘One of the Boys’. I guess I was subconsciously pretending I was back in those times. Gemini sounds like it’s an extension of my EP, but it’s also got that early 2000s pop vibe to it. I honestly love it so much and I am so excited for it to FINALLY come out
